This Narrative is required when the 8(a) applicant is not a member of a presumed socially disadvantaged group. The most common applicant types requiring this documentation is a Caucasian female or a Service Disabled Veteran. In order to make a valid argument to the SBA the social disadvantage must stem from circumstances beyond the applicant’s control.
Service Includes:
Initial Interview: Our professional writer will spend between 60-120 minutes asking the applicant a variety of questions to ferret out instances of past discrimination. This is critical for a narrative that meets the SBA threshold.
Document Checklist: An 8(a) Certification Specialist will go over the required references letters required to substantiate the claims made in the narrative. Third party acknowledgement of discrimination is critical for SBA approval.
Interviewer Writes Narrative for the applicant covering the topics of 1) Business History, 2) Past Employment, and 3) Access to Education.
