8(a) Package Preparation Service

This service includes having Sterling Venture complete the entire 8(a) application for your firm and provide continued support for your firm throughout the entire application process.
 
1. Telephone Consultation: Sterling Venture partner has a telephone call with the applicants to identify challenges and eligibility factors that may affect the 8(a) Application prior to beginning the engagement.
 
2. Conference Call: Managing Partner has all owners of the 8(a) qualified firm present to prepare a strategy and a detailed document checklist.
 
3. Checklist Transmitted: Identify all documents, enclosures, financial information and data items that the applicant must provide to Sterling Venture for the completion of 8(a) application.
 
4. Assemble Documents: As the documents are being transmitted to Sterling Venture we categorize them and examine the data so we can provide our client with up to date feedback as to what additional items are needed via progress reports. We also search for unexplained or missing items so that we can ask for certain items before the SBA does.
 
5. Narrative 1 (Economic Disadvantage): We have a CPA/MBA review your business and personal financial statements to resolve eligibility issues regarding your financial matters for your 8a Certification.
 
6. Narrative 2 (Social Disadvantage): Our professional writer will interview the Applicant in order to draw out instances of past discrimination which are needed for a successful application.
 
7. Application Completion: One of our 8(a) specialists will complete the application ensuring that you application conforms to the SBA guidelines. Our specialist also upload the application into the SBA website.
 
8. Cover Letter: Is created for submittal of the 8(a) application.
 
9. Binder Construction: Placing the application in a framework that is SBA friendly. The purpose in doing so it so eliminate the fear that your firms 8(a) application will be returned for lack of completion.
